This will allow all of the existing businesses to benefit from the increased shopping traffic to the area as a whole.
Knysna Mall, which opened in November, is situated in the centre of the town. Spokesman Hugh Nash said outlets had been frequented by customers right across the spectrum.

“At first we thought that our market would drive in, but we have had many feet walking through from the main road. We are also linked to the Spar Centre, so there have been trade-offs for both the mall and the centre,” he said.
Opening so close to the festive season had presented some major headaches as progressively more and more people visited the mall while building operations were being finished.

With two levels of ample covered parking the new mall can boast the first escalators ever in Knysna!

Located across the road from the Tourist office the Knysna Mall is sure to have something for all.
