3.5 MUNICIPAL INVOLVEMENT

Apart from the Service Industries and semi industrial activity in the area, this district also has vast tracts of vacant or under utilised municipal land. In order to ensure the upgrade of this area, the municipality are required to become an active partner in the redevelopment. The map below indicates the Municipal land that is included in the development concept. The following proposals involve municipal land and will need to be considered;
